Tiffiny Pippins

Tiffiny Pippins is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Tri-Cities High School of Performing Arts (Fulton County). While at Tri-Cities, Coach Pippins played a variety of sports and was named “Most Athletic” of her senior class. Following graduation from Tri-Cities High School, Pippins attended Albany State University where she was a Golden Ram Cheerleader. While cheering at ASU, Tiffiny Pippins received the top academic cheerleader award for 3 consecutive years. In 1996, Coach Pippins earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and PE and in 2000, she earned her Master of Education Degree from Albany State. Pippins returned to graduate school later in her career and earned an Educational Specialist in Health and PE from Georgia Southern and another Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University.
Coach Pippins has over 20 years of experience in education and coaching. Pippins has coached a variety of sports at both the middle school and high school level. She has coached: basketball, cheer, cross country, soccer, softball, track and field and volleyball. During her years coaching, she has served as an assistant coach on two High School Girls’ Basketball State Championship teams, 2003-2004 Hawkinsville High School (Hawkinsville, Ga) and 2017-2018 Lovejoy High School (Hampton, Ga).
In 2015, Coach Pippins began work as athletic director of Lovejoy High School where she worked diligently for four years at the largest high school in Clayton County Public Schools. She left Clayton County for one year and served as middle school A.D. in Henry County. Returning to Clayton County Public Schools after one year of absence, Pippins returned as a middle school health and PE teacher and now found her home as Director of Athletics at Elite Scholars Academy, Home of the Royal Knights.
Coach Tiffiny Pippins is the proud mother of one daughter, Kennedy D. Smith, who is a graduate of Clayton County Public Schools. Pippins is active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Her hobby involves any and all things DIY.
Pippins’ mission as Director of Athletics at Elite Scholars Academy is to cultivate and maintain an athletic experience that embodies the school’s motto of striving for excellence in ALL things.
