Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom (ELBC) Resources

  • GMAS Testing Information: State testing in Georgia has not been waived this school year. GMAS assessments cannot be given remotely and must be given in a face-to-face environment. However, State Superintendent Woods announced in March that he wants to ensure that no virtual students are required to attend school solely to test if they do not feel comfortable due to COVID-19, and you may decline to test. If you would like to decline testing for your student, please complete the Decline Testing Form by April 2nd. Please note, students in American Literature & Composition and United States History are not required to to take the GMAS since they are enrolled in the AP course. For more information, please contact your student's grade level chair.
*If you decline testing for your student, a zero will NOT appear on the transcript.
