2021-2022 Clubs
Elite Scholars Academy offers a variety of clubs. Please contact club sponsors for more information.

Short Story, Spoken Word, & Poetry
Students write their stories, spoken word or poetry during club times or refine their work. We all share with other interested students completed works every two weeks OR if a reading session is called by anyone in the group.  Students give each other critical suggestions on their writings. This is an opportunity for students to write about what they are interested in and not an assignment.

STEM Club
Each month you will have the chance to compete against other members in science related events. Many of these events challenge you to create a device that will accomplish a specific task, such as to protect an egg from breaking in the Egg Drop or projects from the Junk Box Wars. STEM Club members also help with the science exchange program with local elementary schools and have the opportunity to participate in environmental projects in the community. STEM club members can also participate in the Coding Club. The STEM Club will also sponsor the Elite Scholars Academy’s annual Science Night and the school wide science fair in February 2022.

Royal Knights Coders Coding Club
The Royal Knights Coders provides participating students an opportunity to learn the basics of computer programming in a team setting. The club's main focus is on creating applications, and other projects to share with the Elite Scholars community. The Royal Knights Coders welcomes members from grades 6 through 12 to join us in learning more about coding and creating some cool projects. We accept members all throughout the school year. Please stop by room 213 or email Mrs. Hutchins-Trapp ([email protected]) for information regarding our meeting dates and times! Why would you want to join the Royal Knights Coders: In a coding club, you'll be able to collaborate with others, learn from them, and indeed teach them things you know — all in an environment far removed from the pressures of academic study. Oh and one more reason to join an extracurricular coding club: It looks great when you are applying to college.
